Aquarium Relocation Advice

Relocating an aquarium requires a methodical approach to avoid damaging the tank and stressing the fish. Start by relocating the fish to separate containers with water from the tank. Next, drain the aquarium completely and remove all plants, decorations, and substrate. Keep the substrate in a separate bucket to make the tank lighter for transport. During the move, pad the aquarium to prevent it from cracking. At the new location, rebuild the aquarium in the same order: substrate first, followed by decorations, plants, and water. Ensure the water temperature is stable before reintroducing the fish to avoid shock.
